Clinical Psychology
Our focus is on helping individuals manage distress, build resilience, and improve quality of life using proven therapeutic methods.

About Our Psychology Services
Canopy Clinical Psychology is a private practice based in Perth, offering psychological therapy for adults and adolescents aged 12 and over. Our clinicians are trained in evidence-based interventions and provide support for a broad range of psychological concerns. We are committed to helping individuals improve mental health and wellbeing through collaborative, person-centred care.

Values and Principles
Specialised
We provide help for certain problems which require specialised knowledge. For example, sleep problems (e.g., insomnia and nightmares), health psychology areas (e.g., persistent/chronic pain), personality disorders, and interventions for children (aged 12+).
Strength-focused
Therapy helps us learn to manage psychological distress. We take a strengths-focused approach to therapy, helping people build cognitive-behavioural skills which capitalise on their existing strengths and build long-term resiliency, even after therapy!
Collaborative
We aim to be a collaborative service. This means working as a team with our clients to help them meet their personal goals. Where helpful, we consult with a network of GPs, medical specialists, allied health practitioners and more. We also collaborate with other organisations to improve outcomes through involvement in training and research.
Respectful
Canopy is committed to delivering a service which is respectful and welcoming. This means being sensitive to diversity of culture, sexual, and gender identity. We acknowledge the custodians and traditional owners of the land on which we work, the Whadjuk people of the Noongar nation.

What We Help With
At Canopy, we take a transdiagnostic view of therapy. This means we work with many different forms of psychological distress. We understand that difficulties often overlap, and we are committed to working with the whole person. We are experienced in working with:
Anxiety and depression
Trauma and post-traumatic stress
Sleep disturbances (including insomnia and nightmares)
Chronic and persistent pain
Substance use and coping behaviours
Emotional regulation difficulties
Personality vulnerabilities
Adjustment and stress-related issues
and many more!
